Currently recruiting for an HSEQ Advisor to cover the North of Ireland region there is an excellent salary of €45k-€55k (doe) available & company car and fuel card. YOUR NEW ROLE: Reporting to the Electrical Safety Engineer & HSEQT Director as HSEQ Advisor( Power Division) your remit will be to make sure high standards of HSEQ are attained and continually improved as well as ensuring all HSEQ legal obligations, company and client requirements are met. Some of the elements of this exciting and diverse H & S Advisor job include: *Maintaining ISO Certification in the region and the continual development and improvement of the HSEQ Management System; *Producing and implementing HSEQ Procedures, Work Instructions, Forms and other site documentation; *Reviewing site HSEQ documentation to ensure it meets legal requirements; *To advise Senior Operations Management of their statutory duties, changes in legislation to ensure compliance; *Monitoring via audits compliance with the HSEQ Safety Management System; *Ensuring records of incidents are maintained and investigations undertaken to establish the root causes and that controls are in place to avoid a reoccurrence; *To monitor accident frequency rates to establish any trends or improvements; *Produce HSEQ documentation for Tenders; WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU. Ideally you will have 2 years HSEQ experience in distribution and transmission power networks, overhead lines, experience of working with ESBN and membership of IOSH; You will have an understanding on the regulatory sector & management of risk along with a proven track record of building strong safety cultures in organisations. You will also have a full driver's licence and be proficient in Microsoft packages. Fluency in written & verbal English is essential for the HSEQ Consultant job. Sound like your cup of tea?
