Our Client is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their expanding team. Responsibilities. Working within a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and initiative. Directly involved in ensuring that all products meet specifications. Build upon and improve existing process design to optimize process while conforming to standard operating procedures and current good manufacturing practice. Drive yield improvement through effective planned maintenance and fast response to repair issue. Provide input on equipment installation, total preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. Calibration of Equipment. Using PLC programme to diagnose technical faults and problem resolution. Functional Competencies. Diploma in Industrial Automation, Mechanical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent qualification. 2 years high volume manufacturing experience. A working knowledge of special-purpose equipment, pick and place systems, servo/stepper systems, sensors and transducers. Working knowledge of PLCs, pneumatic systems and actuators, and AC motors and controllers. The ability to work shift is essential. Personal Competencies. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Should have good verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate a logical approach to problem-solving.
