Our client based in Leitrim require a Data Governance and Reporting Manager for their expanding business. Purpose of Role: This newly created role will join the data and analytics function who are responsible for harnessing the power of data-driven insights to unlock opportunities for revenue growth, operational efficiencies and improved customer experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small data control team, who are responsible for providing data solutions across the business.The team will be responsible for identifying KPIs, trend analysis and creating reports & dashboards, to effectively inform key stakeholders and support business decision making processes. The role holder will design, develop and automate data delivery, in order to effectively inform the business, inform third parties and maintain business processes to a high standard. The role also includes improving data architecture and establishing the right governance and controls. Key Accountabilities: Creating business requirements specifications & technical specifications. Design, development and revamping of data delivery solutions from initial engagement workshops through to solution deployment. Design and development of control and governance plans to ensure data integrity and effective business operations. Promote awareness of data analytics. Collaborate cross-functionally (with other teams within the business and across the Group) to refine recommendations and develop next best action plans for data solutions. Required Experience: Proven experience in leveraging SQL to acquire, transform and extract insights from large scale complex datasets. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on own initiative. Very strong numeracy, analytical and communication skills. People management experience. Ideally you will have experience with one or more of the following tools / areas : SQL, Quality Centre, Data Quality, Data Governance, Business Intelligence.
