Serving the automotive industry, our client is a global market-leading manufacturing company dedicated to automation. They are now seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will co-ordinate the introduction and implementation of new technologies and equipment to the manufacturing operation. Proving technical expertise to manufacturing process and technology development activities, you will assist in the continuous improvement of a highly automated environment. Your role will also involve: - Leading in the area of process and equipment development. - Providing design support and programming where necessary. - Monitoring and evaluating safety practices and ensuring compliance with legislation. - Ensuring completion of appropriate and relevant documentation within area(s) of responsibility. To be considered, you will need: - At a minimum, three years’ experience with equipment automation, software, or related experience with a BEng in a mechanical, manufacturing or related engineering discipline. - Experience in Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron and/or PLC programming and integration. - Previous experience with servo controllers (Bosch, FESTO, AB and/or IAI), vision system integration, motion applications and HMI products. - Experience in a regulated environment (ISO and/or TS. - 3D modelling experience (SolidWorks or AutoCAD Inventor.
