Leitrim County Council is mandated to deliver a diverse range of functions and services to the County including economic development, community development, the provision of physical and social infrastructure, recreation and amenity services, and the enforcement of the planning and environmental regulatory framework.  The Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officer may be required to lead and manage the team across any of the following areas: Fire Services Operations, Fire Prevention, Emergency Management, Building Control . S/he will work in an inter-agency environment and with external stakeholders and will be required to act as Rostered Senior Fire Officer at operational incidents.
