What you need to know. You will work as a HR Administrator / Generalist for our client, a highly successful and well-established manufacturing company in Longford . As the HR Administrator / Generalist you will support our Human Resources department. Ultimately, you will ensure our HR department supports our employees while conforming to policies and procedures. You will act as the first point of contact for all HR-related queries. This is a permanent job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Provide job candidates by screening, interviewing, recruiting, testing applicants, and maintaining personnel records. Align new employees by providing information, reviewing company policies and procedures and payroll information. Conduct background checks on potential employees. Assist Department Managers, Line Managers, Supervisors and Payroll Department to maintain an efficient working environment. Document HR actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records, new hires, terminations, changes in job classifications etc. Minute taking at disciplinary meetings. Participate in various HR projects (including job fair events etc. Oversee all administration relating to HR. What are we looking for? At least 2 years’ work experience in a HR Generalist role. CIPD qualified. Strong insight into Employment Legislation. Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise important projects and meet the required deadlines in a timely fashion. Strong administration and Project Management Skills. High level of drive and capability to work on own initiative. Desirable. Proficient in MS Office applications.
