CPL is seeking an experienced Store manager with a background in fashion retail for an established store in Leitrim. Key Objectives. • Implementation of the company retail strategy within your store. • Achieve the company budgeted sales objective for your store. • Ensure that the corporate image/look is maintained in-store without deviation through maintaining high standards of store layout and visual merchandising. • Police store standards. • Champion a sale driven and results focussed culture in your store. • Provide leadership, motivation, coaching, mentoring training of your store teams. • Ensure staff development, training and succession planning. • Establish/maintain effective communication with other business functions. • Develop and maintain “best in class” customer service & satisfaction. Duties & Responsibilities. Store Operations. • Operate your store within the agreed expense, payroll and shrinkage budgets. • Analysis/ interpretation and report on as required all controllable store expenses. • Take remedial action required to ensure store expenses remain under or on budget. • Maximise store productivity and efficiency. • Establish and maintain retail “best practice” store operational procedures, policies and systems. • Responsible for the security of merchandise & other property. • Ensure that the operational aspects of the store conform to accepted norms of best practice and national legislation. • Ensure that the store conforms to all Health and Safety legislation. • To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested. Candidate Profile. • Previous management experience of a large retail site. • Strong interpersonal and communications skills. • Strong leadership, motivation and negotiating skills. • Results focussed self-starter with drive, energy and commitment. • Able to energise and develop sales teams. • Charismatic, able to influence at all levels. • Intellectually robust with strong commercial and financial acumen. • Record of commercial success delivering consistent sales and profit growth.
